Kelsey Scott Bio

Kelsey joined the Delaware County Economic Development team in October of 2019. Her primary role is managing the business retention and expansion program, which entails creating and maintaining relationships with Delaware businesses. This support also entails program development to help mitigate common challenges businesses face including workforce development, transportation and affordable housing.

Before joining the County’s economic development team, she was the City of Delaware’s economic development specialist for three years where she managed their business retention and expansion program and the department’s marketing efforts.

Kelsey received a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and a minor in marketing in 2016.
