MAJOR UPDATE 3/22/2020
On March 22, 2020, the Ohio Department of Health, under the direction of Governor Michael DeWine, issued a director’s stay at home order. This order included a list of essential and non-essential businesses. The Delaware County Health Commissioner and the economic development professionals in the county have been in communication concerning the designation of essential and non-essential businesses. The Health Commissioners and the economic development professionals are dedicated to carrying out the directive of the Ohio Department of Health. 20-298 SP Ohio 16355 SBA Working Capital Loans Available Due to Coronavirus
Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) – SBA disaster loan
- Will be a direct loan from the Treasury, not through banks
- Banks with existing loans have been authorized to defer payments for up to 6 months
- EIDL will be administered by ODA
- If a business utilizes the loan, it will not prohibit them from receiving other Fed assistance
- SBA is not planning a loan forgiveness structure at this point
SBA Loan structure is as follows:
- 3.7% up to 30 years
- Up to $25K unsecured, can be more with addition underwriting/approval
- Requires a 2 year lookback with eligibility of less than $5M in annual net profits and less than $15M in Net Worth
- Turnaround from application is expected to be 30 days
